Porsche 356B update

Finally found some more time to spend on this today.

Got the first layer of paint on, needs smoothing down as yet and applying more coats but you can get the general idea:

The horrible Bburago steel wheels will be replaced by these much nicer fuchs. The final ride height has yet to be worked out but it should be lower at the front. Interior needs a complete make over now but I have some nice ideas planned for that.

well, I take it from the comment of 'what you gonna do to it' that I did a good enough job so far. I bought the model ages ago and it just sat on the window sill collecting dust.

I have already removed the side lights and grilles from the front and filled the bumper mounting holes, plus the holes from the chrome piece on the hood. The door handles have been smoothed. On the back, the relfectors have been removed, reg plate mounting filled, bumper mounting holes filled and the rear side vents filled and smoothed.

It did look like this:

Inside it will go black probably. I have some nice period bucket seats with harnesses. Gonna give the back an ICE install I think.....oh, and the 1.3 badly detailed engine will be replaced with a whopping 5.0 V12 BMW engine. This may sound impossible but it does actually fit...JUST.
