Lightbulb Jetta GLS Window Problems

I Have a 1997 Jetta GLS That About a week age the Back Driver Window went down.My wife picked me up I pressed the buttons It didn't go up.About 5 minutes later the window went up on it's own.Fast Forward a couple of days late all 4 windows went down they will go up when you use the Key on the Door lock.Sometimes they will stay up for 1 hour sometimes 5 minutes also the alarm & door locks quit working.I had a mechanic look at it we took the wireing harness loose on the back driver window they will stay up.On the test CPU the test code 46-35 wont let you in the code to let you reset the codes. If there is any help out there I really Need your Input on what to do.
Thanks,
jonmarc phillips

Re: Jetta GLS Window Problems

The best thing it could be is a broken or shorting wire where the harness goes from the body to the door at the hinges. Pull back the rubber boot at both the back & driver's door & look for trouble. Worst case is a door module problem.
