Kaizen?

Hey all, I was looking around toyota's site and I came across a new site of theirs. Anyone seen www.planetkaizen.com? It's kinda like a Toyota encyclopedia but it's set up like a desktop. Yeah, hard to explain but I like how they put all the info together and spice it up a bit.

Anyone out there know what this site's about?

Kaizen is the term Japanese use to describe "continuous improvement", which is a part of Total Quality Management. TQM was started in Japan after WWII in an effort to make Japan more efficient at production. Hope this helps.

Re: Kaizen?

Its all about the 'Toyota way'. I worked at the plant where they make the Corolla Matrix and RX330. They are all terms from Japan. Kaizen is a word for constant improvement. The site was orginally setup for people to learn about the Toyota way.
