2001 Blower Motor Resistor Location

Hi Guys,

I need to replace the Blower Motor Resistor on my 2001 Durango, can someone please post where this part is exactly located. Not having any luck search the net for pictures or locations of this part and the dealership is not helping. I want to do this before this weekend, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

I had my blower fail this week and only worked on the highest setting. I took the advice, followed the picture on the link above and had it fixed in about 20 minutes. Thank you all very much. The dodge dealer originally quoted me 80+ just to diag. Blower resister part (in stock) 9.50! Awesome, Thanks agiain

Does this fix relate to both the front and rear blowers? My rear blower works once in a blue moon.

Either way, this is a wonderful thread.

Re: 2001 Blower Motor Resistor Location

In the 99 and earlier models, it is under the cowel panel near the right windshield wiper pivot point. You might check there on your 2001.
