Can 4.3L use same mods as the 5.7L?

I've been wondering if performance parts for my 4.3L were the same as for the 5.7L? Cause i have a summit racing catalog and i wanna order parts but they only list for the 5.7L LT1! My car was also an ex- police car but i'm just not sure if i could use LT1performance parts or computer programers for my 4.3L. Does anyone know for sure????
