Need an engine, can you help?

Hey all, my friend is in a pinch. He has an Integra Type R and the engine is blown. This is an exact quote from his email about what he wants.
"see how much it costs to get a B18C engine from an integra type r for me. i need engine, lsd tranny, computer, axels, power steering and ac pumps, intake and exhaust manifolds, shift linkages, all wiring, and engine mounts. i need to get a total cost "

If anyone could help out I'd really appreciate it!!!
Thanks!!!

I was just assuming it was blown This is exactly what his email says: " but anyhow, my car is sitting without an engine right now so i really need you to go and find me a good motor asap. thanks."

Now, I am in Japan.....but finding an Integra Type R engine is easier said then done.

Re: Need an engine, can you help?

Are you trying to find this in Japan or just in general? Because I doubt many people on this board would be able to help you if you're getting it in Japan. I'd just check a junk yard, they're bound to have a bunch of them. Now if he doesn't care if he just gets the motor and stuff than I'd try www.passwordjdm.com for everything but the A/C pump, powersteering pump, and the whole wiring harness.

Re: Need an engine, can you help?

You can ge an entire car over there for a little under 6k. Yes, a type R DC2 Integra. Sell the parts you don't need, IE seats, front end conversion, wing, five lug conversion, ect, ect on eBay. You keep what is left. The front end conversion alone should bring in $1,500 at a minimum. Otherwise, the engine, tranny, ecu, ect, ect will cost more than $4,500 here in the states.
