After Engine Fires, Starter Gear Won't release
Hi All,
1989 Chev Corvette Anybody run into this before, when the engine is cranked and the started engages, it won't dissengage, it just keep's running, this only happens when the car sits (eg All Day, or Overnight), the only way to stop it is to Disconnect the Battery. The Starter Has been sent out 3 times, the Ignition switch is new, something is giving that wire to the starter power? Anybody encountered this before. Mr.Rob |

i'm, not sure about that particular year, but i know some corvette sarters were shimmed so that they met the flywheel teeth perfectly.
