i got a 98 rs auto, when i accelerate, the rmp meter goes up to about 3, then it drops to 2, then it goes back up again, isn't it suppose to keep going up?....this process repeats itself each time i accelerate after coming to a stop...can someone tell me whats wrong with the car? thanks

Re: A little help please...

Is it just the needle that drops out, or are you having power failure too?

nwo if it does it irradically like sitting at a stop light or when the car is in park then you have something to worry about. now if your driving and the car is jerking around like its bogging down and then suddenly speeding up, then something is wrong. but if it is smooth then don't worry
