Hey i have a 1997 jeep wrangler 2.5 4 cyl. It apears the power steering pump is leaking...How hard is it to replace this? It just got a new one a year ago from the previous owner!!! WE just put 800 dollars in the jeep a few weeeks ago so im hoping this is an easy project.... Thanks for any input!

Re: POWER STEERING asp

Ya, it should be easy. On my 88 wrangler, and just about every vehicle, it simply unbolts and the new one bolts on. You just have to realease the tension on the serpentine belt, then tighten it back up when done. Just remember where the lines for the power steering fluid run to, and hook them back up the same way.

Hope that made sense!!
