how many cold cranking amps?

my delima continues, how many cold cranking amps should my battery have for a 2.7 liter engine? i think mine has 731, not sure though. but when its cold out it wont crank, so im thinking that its the battery. its an autocraft silver. i had someone check the battery and it checked out good, but they said that it may be a bad cell and the cold weather is draining it causing it to crank slow and soometimes not crank at all when its cold out.

Re: how many cold cranking amps?

Make sure the cells are up to the line with distilled water. Also, you can try cleaning the posts and the battery with baking soda in water. You may be draining the battery with power leakage through the external electrolyte.
