1998 Civic w/ b16a motor - Need proper alternator

Cousin just purchased a 1998 Civic. Has 1992 Del sol motor (from Japan?). Did not get much info on car when purchased. Alternator crapped out and someone has wrong alternator installed now (brackets all modified/backyard hacked together). Car has 3 plug to back of alternator but proper alternator appears to have 4 plug. What do I need to make this fit properly. Appears to have had original alternator for 1998 (doesn't fit correctly at all) in it now but set up is really half ass.

Ordered/tried rebuilt alternators and checked for 1992, 93.... 1999 Sir, etc.... but plug in not the same but alternator for 1999 sir appears to fit oem bracket the best. What do I need? New brackets, new/different alternator, re-wire plug, etc....

Thanks in advance!

Michael
