the prelude and z28

heh.... raced a prelude today, beat him, then he cut me off , anyway i was driving behind him and a big piece of rubber flys up ( ithink from under his car im pretty sure he ran over it and threw it up)i wasnt really paying attention but anyway the rubber(which i think was remains of a tire) smacks my car square in the grill and knocks it out, luckily it only hit the grill and i have to have it replaced, im thinking of going with a billet grill, by the way the guy in the prelude goes to my school and he said he has a turbo, but hes pretty cool though,

crappy thing is the grill replacement is going to set me back on the headers about 200 bucks or whatever it costs

oh by the way im selling my z28 check out the chevy camaro threads if u interested

So you're getting headers for a car that you're selling. Shouldn't you be able to hear his turbo if he raced you and you knew anything about cars? He cut you off but he's cool?

Just a few days you were talking shit about imports and how great your american muscle is, and now you're buying something for it so you can lose it when you sell the car. I don't get you

Re: the prelude and z28

im friends with the guy, and when you race down the highway its hard to hear yourself think, i listen to my engine not theirs,i am trying to get headers bc it takes a while to sell a camaro and i might even change my mind and not sell it.

No offense or anything because I am sorry about what happened to your busted grill and all but I would much rather hear more about the race with the Prelude than your grill.

Re: the prelude and z28

So why would you sell it? I thought you loved it?

Re: the prelude and z28

i didnt include the story of racing the prelude bc it wasnt that interesting, we went on the highway at a 60 mph roll an(begining of third for me)and i had him by a couple car lentghs by the top of fourth then we quit. i am not really as good of a storyteller as most of the other people here, i cant remember all the details of exactly what was going on like what i was thinking and what cars were around us so i dont post many stories about my races

But a Z28 against a honda is just... well let's put it this way.
You could beat it in Reverse.

(saw 3 T/A,s today, 2 newer style and one 70's also saw a 60 somethin black 350 SS.)
