Headlight relay for 93 Century (and other 1988 and newer GM)

HI.

I've seen in the JC Whitney catalogue a headlight relay to allow the low beams to stay on while the high beams are on. It costs about 20 bucks. Has anybody tried to install one of these and is it hard to do?

I find it very annoying that the low beams go off when you turn on the brights. The 88 Century I used to have was the same way, but I also had a 85 Lesabre and 85 Somerset Regal, and all 4 headlights would come on on those cars.

I don't know why GM decided to do this. It makes it very hard to see when the brights are on, expecially when it's raining.
