Good luck finding a buyer with all those mods on the car... i suggest parking it at a couple colleges in a high traffic area with a for sale sign to get some advertising out there.

7 grand is reasonable especially considering the mileage.

Again, the hardest part will be finding a buyer... not much demand for a riced out domestic car.

Re: help with 01 focus

I would say stock the car is valued at about $6500 in good condition, check here for the value of the car kkb.com but unless you sell to a younger person that wants all the mods I do not think you could get much more for the car.

Just my 2 cents.

Re: help with 01 focus

you'd probably make more money putting it back as stock as you can and selling all the parts on ebay.

Let me answer for you:

Quote:
Evo body kit, Molded side skits, Shaved Body lines, Hella fog lamps, Chrome gas cap, M3 mirrors with LEDs, 3 piece mid-wing
Notice the evo body kit? The wing? Just a few things. I could go into more detail but i won't. Please read carefully before giving me the 'screwy' look.

These are just a FEW things based on the original that make me 'figure' it's 'riced out'.

on a car tah can only problably run 15.8 IS rice, all you have perfromacne wise is a nice suspention, intake, and exaust, but have all that money done to the apperance. for the appernace cost you could have had a head package.

Re: help with 01 focus

yeah and most SMART people stick the the rule Go b4 Show. teh ony reason a car has fro being lightly performance moded and heavily apperance wise is that it is an automatic.

Re: help with 01 focus

what??

SMART people are everywhere...most IGNORANT people would repeat what you just typed...you have no idea what as to what your talking about...apparently you have this vision in your head that everyone who buys a car has to make it fast...better yet...every thing that they buy for their car has to make it fast...that is called being "narrow minded"

I agree with blu, all the rice comments have gotten WAY to far. its such a played out word now and if ur car looks nice but its slow, its considered rice. i think everybody should stfu with the rice comments. my car is a project, people call it rice, i dont see how. yes it looks rough but i dont car because its a PROJECT. but it is still fast. i wasnt gonna buy a motor, i was gonna get a kit for it and paint it then i came across a motor for cheap so i picked it up. now i havent touched the body work for awhile because i'm lackin funds, do i care about driving around with a half painted car? no. do people call it rice? yes but they shut there mouth after my car out runs them either in a straight line or in corners

Re: help with 01 focus

see imo its stupid o have a slow ass car that LOOKS fast cuz anytime a person wants to race you'll lose. for instance if i used the money spent on apperance of your car i'd be in the 14's, and that would get more respent then the guy that looks nice but runs high 15's like yourself.

but what you dont understand is that not everyone is about going fast, alot of people like show because they like a nice clean looking car. i'd take a clean looking car over a fast one anyday. i kinda rather my car all kitted out and looking nice as hell right now. i dont see where u grasp the concept that looks over speed = rice.... its not rice, rice is someone putting NOS, APC, Type R stickers etc.... on there car when its bone stock and thinking there the shit, rice is having a HUGE aluminum coffee table on the back of ur car, Rice is having a jacked up car with a tin can muffler on the back that sounds like a wet fart. something that looks clean and goes slow.... not rice, something that looks like a total POS all stickered up with a huge aluminium wing and tin can muffler at stock ride height... = RICE!

before you start throwing that word around at any cars ever again. think hard about it. is it rice? or do u just think its ugly? theres a huge difference there
