Well if u dont have the money 2 do the 350 swap right don't wast your time.Because it is going to be a big price tag.I will tell u what it will take and cost.Lets see first u will need a trans,because the v6 trans bellhousein may or maynot fit, but it will not stand up to the added hp or torque. Then u need to adress the suspension with new springs,a-arms and bushins.Then there are the coolin problems, u will need a radiator, the v6 one will not do,and the one from the el camino won't fit. So u r lookin at about $2500 to $3500 dollars,and i might have left out something. So if u don't have that kind of cash just beef up the v6, it will be cheaper. :

sorry for the bad news. but on the good side u can make a mean v6 with the right mods!!
