1984 v6 camro engine swap PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Hello all i am greatly in need of some assistance.
i recently purchased a 1984 camaro that needs a new motor i was wondering if it was at all possible to put a 350 in it that was pulled from my 76 el camino and bolt it up to the stock v6 manual transmission? if not could i possibly get the transmision built by a shop so that it can handle that kind of torque and horsepower? or would it be a better route to bore and stroke the stock v6 motor and build it from there? i really want to make this car quick but unfortunately i am on limited funds and this car HAS to stay a manual. i couldnt live w/ having an automatic. please let me know what you think and any other suggestions or ideas other then what i have thought up will be greatly appreciated!!

im not to keen on the third gen swaps, but i think you should be able to hook that 350 into the camaro. you just have to get all the mounts and crossmembers that are needed for the eight. also, i dont think you can hook up the v-6 tranny, again im not a third gen guru so this might be wrong, but im pretty sure you would have to get a different transmission. if the el camino isnt doing anything, just through that whole drivetrain in the maro...

That engine is its a good runner, will eat that tranny in no time. The 350 will fit no problem. Your best bet for a manual transmission is a T-56 6 spd, but your talking a few grand for that.

Well if u dont have the money 2 do the 350 swap right don't wast your time.Because it is going to be a big price tag.I will tell u what it will take and cost.Lets see first u will need a trans,because the v6 trans bellhousein may or maynot fit, but it will not stand up to the added hp or torque. Then u need to adress the suspension with new springs,a-arms and bushins.Then there are the coolin problems, u will need a radiator, the v6 one will not do,and the one from the el camino won't fit. So u r lookin at about $2500 to $3500 dollars,and i might have left out something. So if u don't have that kind of cash just beef up the v6, it will be cheaper. : sorry for the bad news. but on the good side u can make a mean v6 with the right mods!!
