Hitch question..
I've got dual exhaust coming out the back of my truck right now, and I need to get a Hitch. My pipes are probably a couple inches from the spare tire (265/75/16) on each side. Will my pipes (2.5 in. pipes, with 3 inch stainless tips) rub a hitch?
It's a 1992 K1500 regular cab, short bed truck. there is a picture of the truck. Thanks.

Re: Hitch question..
You should be able to squeeze one in. Try to find a factory one from a junkyard.

I have the exact same setup in mine (2.5" pipes, 3" dumps) and it is close but it doesn't hit. The pipes run under where the hitch is bolted on. Chances are your exhaust is ran different than mine but if you can still fit your spare tire in, you should be good. I can't tell you what brand of hitch I have, I have no clue. It's similar to a hidden hitch, (all you can see is the receiver part) but I don't think it's that brand. If you do some checking around, I'm sure you can find one that will fit.

Re: Hitch question..
Thanks for the info guys. I went to Wal-Mart today to look at the Reese Hitch brand, and I think it will fit in between the pipes, may rub a little, it woudl be close.
I never really looked to see how close my pipes are to the frame, I guess that would be more of a hold up then anything else. The tips are a couple inches below my bumper, but they are around 18 inches long. I guess I'll just have to try it and see, lol. I would really prefer a hidden type hitch to the reese hitch, but its just so conveniant going to Wal-Mart and giving $110 for the Reese brand, lol.
