S.O.S. help!
I have an mr2 spyder 2002. Lately it's been acting up. Recently it's been making a noise in the engine compartment somewhere. Whenever I give some gas, there is some kind of rattling noise. It doesn't matter what gear I'm in. The more I give it gas the louder it gets. I can't drive it anymore because it's pretty loud. I know if I take it to the dealer it's gonna rake my bank. Does anyone have any suggestions? Could it be my clutch goin out? I'm clueless!

Hmm... a rattling during acceleration... if it's coming from the engine compartment... and if the 2000+ mr2 is anything like the 91... check the heatshield/exhaust manifold for loose bolts.
