Toyota Letter

i got homework and it has to do with a letter to anything here it is please, suggestions thanks:

October 18, 2004

Dear Toyota,
Toyota Sports cars in North America is big concern for many North American Automobile Enthusiasts today. As I have been researching lately I have found out that the Toyota Celica lineup and the Toyota MR2- Spider will no longer be in production as of 2005. We both know that this isn’t the end for Toyota sports cars throughout the world but is so for us North Americans. My question to you is where is the arriving sports car that comes to the United States under the Toyota nameplate?

By looking at other Japanese Manufactures in the United States, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, and Mitsubishi have respectable compete able cars for American Markets such as GM and Ford. I’m not saying that there isn’t any Toyota sports car what’s so ever, but as there isn’t one sold under the name of Toyota as of 2005. Considering the sad lost of the ZZW and ZZT we are shocked that Toyota has not brought a new line up. I did hear of a Matrix GT-Four, which is respectably 250hp; the 3s-gte engines have done wonders for past Toyotas such as the rally Celica st205. But this isn’t what many of us Americans wanted to see, or even expected. I would have expected the rebirth of the Celica GT-Four in the ZZT chassis, but then again that idea was shut down. My question to you is why can’t there be a car that can compete with the Japanese, American, and German markets? To make things clearer here is the list of Japanese sports automobiles that are sold as there regular nameplate around the world:-05 Honda: Civic Si, S2000, and Honda excluded American sales under Acura: NSX, RSX (Integra) -05 Nissan: 350Z (Fairlady Z), and Sentra SE-R SpecV, and Nissan excluded American sales under Infinity: G35, (Skyline 350 GT v35)-05 Subaru: Impreza WRX, and Impreza WRX STi-05 Mitsubishi: Lancer Evolution MR, and Eclipse GTS.

Toyota is great company to produce day-to-day cars and reliable trucks. But I recall days when a car called the Toyota Supra Turbo, or the MR2 Turbo, were made and sold here in the US. Thanks to the crisis of the mid 90’s high price tags those cars are now gone. Now we have lost the Celica and MR2 Spider.

I have notice 2 rear wheel drive cars that Toyota Corporation has in the US. These two are sold here under Lexus models. Otherwise you would now that I am specking about the Altezza and Soarer sold here as the IS300 and SC430 Lexus models. You might want to add that since these are Toyota’s then why is my argument necessary, well let me ask you this: How many Americans know that Lexus is Toyota’s luxury line up, only few people know.

Lets suppose that sales of a new Supra go on In Japan only. What are automobile enthusiasts do. As a member of automotiveforums, we are much concern that this doesn’t happen. Nissan decided to do this with the R chassis Skyline, today we do get but as Infinity model Skyline, which I think it was a mistake that is under Infinity. RI’s and Authorized legalization companies can bring the R series Skylines to the United States, such as Motorex. But these companies charge too much to legalize them for street use.

I for one part don’t want to see a Lexus Supra, We all at automotiveforums ask you: Can we have the Supra Back sometime in the near future as a Toyota brand car in the US?

Sincerely,

Student and Enthusiast.

looks good to me. You might want to add ".com" to the end of automotiveforums.

This sentence is awkward, try rewriting it.
In fact, read your entire letter out loud to yourself - and you'll see that you have some interesting mistakes...

Hmmmm, no more Celica or MR2. Probably has something to do with them being chick cars. Buy a Scion instead. Oh wait, those are chick cars too.

Judging by all of the grammatical errors in your letter, i'm guessing you aren't a good student.

Re: Toyota Letter

Actually it's just because people are really stupid, and Toyota's SUVs sell better that they have no sports cars.
The point I'm trying to make is that SUVs suck.

Re: Toyota Letter

just re-read the letter, you only have a few grammar errors, and some of your sentance structures could be reworded... but aside from that, I like it!

and i love my "chick" car...
i'll let you race against it any time you want

Apparently you didn't read where he said he edited it for personal reasons. I'm guessing one of the things he edited for posting here was his name at the end above the words "Student and Enthusiast".

Re: Toyota Letter

*to add, Should rather list the Civic Type R, instead of the Civic Si, since you're talking about sports cars around the world

Re: Toyota Letter

Too many mistakes for me to contemplate fixing it for you. One thing i will say though: addressing the letter to Toyota??? How about "sir / madam" instead.

You spelled Infiniti wrong. It's "I-n-f-i-n-i-t-i." Also, the Altezza/IS300 and the Soarer/SC430 aren't the only Toyotas as Lexuses. There's the Aristo as the GS330 and the GS430, and the Celsior/LS430.

Re: Toyota Letter

Wow, that letter was the toughest read in a while....
What grade are you in?
And remember: Spell-check doesn't catch Grammar, and sometimes Grammar-check doesnt, either.

Just because it's fast doesn't mean it's not a chick car.
