'98 Windstar > My problems.....

OK, my Heater & A/C only blows through defrost and floor. Thankfully, this site has given me a few things to look at. A) Vacuum lines under the hood; B) Vacuum lines under the drivers side of the dash; C) vacuum at the switch.

Question: To check the vacuum lines under the hood, do I have to remove the cowl, and is there any specific place I should look under there?

Try feeling around back there....
The vacuum lines are connected to the back of the upper intake manifold.....you can not see most of them.....but if one has slipped off....it will be hanging right next to the connector.....so your hand should bump it...... I would try this before taking things apart......you may have to take things apart...but...try this way first....

Should give you an idea of what to feel for if you look at the picture of the upper intake manifold....you will need to reverse the view in your mind as the picture shows the bottom side view.
