Stranded!!!!!
Heres a new one---
As posted many times before the car was in a flood-- somehow the VATS conectors in the key cylinder got disconnected (the two little conectors that check the key's resistance)--bypassed VATS by putting a resistor of the same value of my key's slug between the two wires that conect to the sensors in the key cylinder-- here's the problem--went to start the car (raining 55F) and it wont start, I hear the theft deterrant relay kick in and no start. I don't get a security light on the dash. I double checked the resistors that i put in versus the key and theyre the same sooooo? Could the amount of humidity have anything to do with it? (I am cold wet and tired from walking home) I am reaching, I know, cause I cant puzzle this one out. The car has been running fine for the last week and now---it shits the bed... Come on Camaro Jedi's!!! I need you!!! Thanks Jack

Re: Stranded!!!!!
+/- 5% or 1.7 kilo Olms--the key slug is 11.8 Kolms and I have two 1k and 1- 10 k resistors--in the research I hear that you should err to the high side. I am about to call my girlfriends Dad for a ride--Please spare me that!!!
