There is a complete how-to on this exact swap in the october 2001 SCC.
They used HAsports m92-b16-10 kit, includes everything needed to drop in the engine, including cable to hydraulic conversion for the clutch Retail lists at approx. $500

As for the ECU, use either a JDM ecu from a 90-93 Integra XSi or RSi, or from a 94-95 USDM DEL SOL DOHC VTEC. They note you can us your stock EX OR SI ecu if thats what you have, but you'll need to get it rechipped. You'll have to get a distributer from a 94-95 del sol dohc vtec or a 92-95 Integra GSR, the JDM b16a1 distributer doensnt work correctly with the obd-1 ecus

www.infinitemotorsports.net/JDM%20Swaps.0.html I have no clue about either ones reliability and unless you already have a B series engine in your car you will not be able to use your stock tranny. My question is: is it possible to retaint the cable clutch configuration ?

They have swaps for $1500 shipping included, with the ECU already chipped, youll have to get axles though HASport mount kit for the b16a1 into 92-95 civic only $399

Or could i use a Wiring harness out of another car?

HASport makes a sub-harness that fits on your civic hasrness. Kit includes all vtec and knock-sencing stuff, but you will still nees to wire things like the o2 sensor

get the 2nd gen, it's OBD1 unless you get a rare OBD1 1st gen or one with a grey plug conversion. You'll regret getting it because it's older and it will costs the same as a 2nd gen when your all done with everything. Get the 2nd gen for $2300, sell the ECU...get a Skunk2 P28, use your stock wiring harness. Get the b-series mounts....even if you don't spend as much, it's still wasting a lot of time.
