94 Ranger 4.0 with idle problem
I've got a 94 Ranger thats been good for 4 years.
Now its loosing power at idle but its fine at higher RPMs If it was carborated I'd say its acting like the float was sticking, but I don't know much about fuel injection. I checked the codes and it said the MAF was too high... it said the MAF was too low... And it said the MAF was testing out of range... I cleaned the MAF very carefully, changed the fuel and air filters but it had no effect. I unplugged the MAF and it did not change how the ingine runs. Should it have made a difference? Any suggestions would be good. I'ld hate to throw down $100 for a new MAF and that not be the problem. Last edited by 76cobraII; 10-22-2004 at 08:24 PM. |
