injectors not squirting. :(

ok here is my dilemma, I recently did a JDM H22A swap into my 98 Prelude SH. the wiring was all jacked up from the swap but it still ran. so i pulled the wiring harness out and cleaned up the wiring on it - routed the wires better and electrical taped it all back together. I put the harness back in... engine won't kick over. it is getting spark.. and it is getting fuel up to the fuel rail... but it ain't getting past that. is there a sensor besides the ckp / tdc combo that would tell the fuel injectors whether or not to squirt? if anyone knows of any please tell me so it would be easier to isolate the wire that may have broken. (i tested the continuity of the map sensor and tp sensor wires... those were fine... along with the ckp / cyp / tdc / injectors) there are a few other plugs that are hard to reach... so i didn't do those.. if anyone has any ideas please help me out. thanks!

Re: injectors not squirting. :(

never heard of a resistor box for a prelude. or a H22 for that matter... also - i swapped to a p13 ecu, obd1 peak and hold injectors (obd1 motor)... so that should not be an issue.

Re: injectors not squirting. :(

It was a long shot. I know my buddy had to use a resistor box when he put an h22 in his civic. Here's a pic (thanks to Sparq who took the pic of my buddies car {back when he still came to this board}): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/DSC07303.jpg

Yeah he did. He has a JDM '96 h22 (though it is an obd1 engine) with the stock p13.

Re: injectors not squirting. :(

thats why he needed a resistor box - the ecu is obd1 while the injectors are obd2.... anyways - i found the problem... when i cleaned up the wiring i clipped off a connector that i thought wasn't being used... but it had a cover over the plug.. it turns out - the wires were connected underneath to complete a circuit. that circuit happened to be the power for the injectors... silly me :-P i got the harness out right now and i will put it back in tomorrow morning.
