'96 5.7 autotransmission to '92 5.7 5-speed?
Hi, would like to know if I can take my 5-speed manual transmission out of my '92 Silverado Ext 5.7 engine, and replace it with an automatic transmission from a '96 5.7 engine? And what will I need for extras. Thanks

Re: '96 5.7 autotransmission to '92 5.7 5-speed?
you will need a wat to sift it, so you'll need the linkage and shifter on the column. you will also need the computer, as this is a 4L60E and you will need the electronics.
