Getting A 96 Engine
I own a 92 vr4 and i am just wondering if the 96 engine would just fit right in without any modifications to the engine mounts?

I thought with the second generation engines, you would also need the 6 speed.

both trannies bolt up exacltly the same, all vr-4 engines are exactly the same except for the 2-bolt, 4-bolt issue

The previouse owner ran it up to 130 with less then half oil. The whole bottom end is fucked. the 2 botls main was grinded to hell by the crankshaft and so was the top of the block.
