Dash Lights Out ?????

My daughter has and '01 Alero, her boyfriend was installing an after market stereo. Now she has no dash lights, no fog lights and no door control/switch lights. Everything functions - just no lights. I checked fuses in dash and under hood. They are all fine from what I can see. Tried the reset button. HELP, Somebody, anybody.

Is the dimmer switch turned all the way down?

I'll have to check that out tonight - hey thannks. Sometimes you over look the simplest answer. I hope that is it. I'll be back tomorrow with the conclusion to this problem.

This always happens to me and I'm such a dumbass...I'll start freaking out before I even check the dimmer switch...

After looking at some of these threads I notced some people having trouble with there tail lights being out. Guess what? In addition to dash and various other in car lights her tail lights are out to. Brake lights work but no rear parking or parking for that matter. Flasher and turn signals work. What ever the problem is it sound like something to do with the cirit that the sensor (that automatically turns on the lights when it's dark) is on. I don't know anybody been through this? How did you fix it?

Dash lights are out The little window buttons and door lock buttons don't light up and parking lights out also no fog lights???????? I'm farelly mechanically enclinde, but when it comes to electrical, forget it.
