Help a guy out Please ( Alternator )
Hey a guy that I work with asked if I would post a question for some help.
He has the SHOC 94 Stealth. Appartenly he needs to replace his alternator and is having some problems with this. He is wanting to do this his self since Mitsubishi will charge $500 alone for the alternator. Now the guy has looked at this and sees that there is only two ways to do this, from either underneath or to go though the top. Now he noticed that he would have take out the ? Master brake cylinder ( i believe is what he said ) but there is a bolt that looks like it is almost stripped and he doesn't want to make it worse. Can anyone help with a better idea or more info on this removal and replacement? IF you can Thank you. I know he would thank you as well. I think he is getting tired of the Bus. |

http://www.stealth316.com/2-alternator.htm
http://www.stealth316.com/2-alt-rebuild.htm http://www.vr4stealth.com/serpentine.htm These were what I found really quick...unfortunantly, they are all on DOHC, I don't know how different they are, or if these will even offer new ideas he hasn't thought of...sorry I'm in a rush and can't do more searching right now...Also check the 60k tuneup part of the FAQ, perhaps those sites will have something that would help.
