Little door pin that shuts off radio not working

Hey guys,

That little pin inside the door that's responsible for shutting off the radio and warning about your lights on after you've removed the key is no longer working for me.

At first I had to toggle it a bit and now it just won't work at all.

How tough is it to get at the inside of this pin area and check things out? Any suggestions on what might have happened?

I've ran my battery down a couple times because I didn't realize the lights were still on (due to no warning)
