Re: RE: rear tyres please help asap
Get some smaller tires. The side walls are to big. you mgiht wana get 260/30/18. If the make the side wall smaller and the width of the tire smaller it could fit in there. But the smaller tire might not work. You would have to buy one and find out.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! sorry. Let me try again, slowly, what wheels do you have on your E39 ? ? i.e. , factory? if not, brand? offset?
How much did the springs drop the "Ride Height" [measured from wheel arch opening stright down to the lower lip of the rim, measured through the center cap] Await your reply. |

Re: RE: rear tyres please help asap
hello mate.
the wheels i have are rondel's 18*10 ON THE REAR. 18*8.5 ON FRONT. I have rolled the rear fenders and I think the problem has gone. I hope it has. I had a full load in the back yesterday. took it around a roundabout and heard no scrapping. i hope its sorted. my susspension drop was 40mm all around. |

Re: RE: rear tyres please help asap
Hey there, 'stealthsmooth', I tought you might have wider wheels, 9" is about max. depending on the offset amd 'rolling' the wheel openings is your only solution. Great to know it works on E39's ! !
