Lanos Parts for a Pontiac?
I own a 1988 Pontiac LeMans, which is also the same as a 1988-1997 Daewoo Lanos (also Opel Cadet, Vauhaal Astra, Optima,...) and I am wondering if the parts used on the newer Lanos cars are interchangeable with the older ones. There is no question that the older parts fit mine, as my car says "Daewoo" all the way to the back of the Pontiac emblem. I am really just looking to get newer car parts for mine to take advantage of the obvious increases in technology and quality.
Specifically I will need front end parts (brakes, strut assy., etc.) but am also looking to upgrade the rear brake system to newer, or even a disc system if there is such a Daewoo car equipped (maybe the nubira, or others?) If I know Daewoo, and I do for my car's years, they like to reuse part designs, it's the Korea Mfgr's way. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it, especially if you have a Hollander handy...
