I have Dragon and it is great, I think Revell use same tool as Dragon so it should be same but why to take the risk

Same molds- if you get the Dragon kit, some of the sprues actually have the Revell emblem on them.

Either can be a bit hard to come by (they appear on Ebay regularly), but are well worth getting if you can. The bodywork is terrific, and the rest of the kit is easily up to that of a good Fujimi (not enthusiast) kit.

The only trouble I've had with these kits is the 'Dream Team' 94 touring car version of the M3- the decals are horrible, which is a bit of a tragedy, as the scheme looks terrific.

Does the 2door M3 by Revell come with engine details?

I saw the yellow and red M3 by Revell on ebay sometimes ago, I remember I saw the engine pictures at the side of the box.

oh, I also have the "Dream team" M3, but haven't started to build or even see the details inside. Could you tell more details about the problem with the decal? I would like to know so that I won't ruin it. Thanks.

Hey joecwlaw-

the decals all wrinkled badly and disolved in places when I applied them. I was using microsol. They seem to need some kind of decal solution but microsol certainly isn't it. Maybe something weaker (microset?) Good luck with it.

And no, the Revell kit is curbside also.

I saw the Revell at eBay, but before bidding I would like to take a look at some local shops.

How is the Dragon? looks nice? any pics or scanning from the instructions?

Re: BMW M3, Revell-GE or Dragon??

I bought the Revell-AG kit of the BMW Alpina B6 2.8, and although I like the kit, the flash on all of the sprues is unbelieveable.
If you get the kit expect to spend some time with your hobby knife.
