Sunroof Glitching
Having an intermittent problem where I'll be closing my sunroof and it will suddenly stop. Let go of the button, push it again and it starts moving, then might stop again before I can get it closed all the way. Any ideas? Switch or motor?
Thanks - |

I had a problem where it seemed like the sunroof came off of the track. After alot of cursing and punching it seemed to be fixed it slides just fine now but after it closes or pops open i hear a pretty loud crack. The crack isn't a glass crack noise but sounds like a seal popping.
I have a 97 blazer and the sunroof has gotten goofy with mine too. But as far as with your problem it could be wiring, switch or motor. Sometimes if its the motor it just will or will not work. |

Re: Sunroof Glitching
i thought mine was that way but i would end up double pushing the button, then i realised all you have to do is push it quick and it will open and shut on its own, or just lock the doors and it should close and seal right. If that helps let us know.

Re: Sunroof Glitching
Something will a little thicker consistency that motor oil.
Light lithium spray grease should do fine. |
