exhaust ?????

I have a questiona bout getting a custombent pipe from an exhaust shop. I need a pipe to go from my test pipe to my muffler and be welded on, i want 3 inch piping and i already have a muffler. I am wondering how much it will cost for hte piping and then for the labor to bend it and put it on with hangers and welding and whatnot, any advice is appreciated.

Re: exhaust ?????

Mine cost me just about 100 dollars. Your best bet is to go to a couple exhaust shop and ask them for a quote.

Re: exhaust ?????

is it worth getting? Would 3.5 inch piping be better for a gsx, and did that cost include pipe and all the labor?

Re: exhaust ?????

3.5 is extremely loud. I wouldnt recomend it for a car that will ever see the street, trust me. 3" will be fine. Even pressbent it will still be a little better than mandrel bent 2.5". 100 bucks probably included labor. Shit, I got 10 feet of 3" pipe with a flange (apxi, provided by me) welded on for 30 bucks at my favorite exhaust shop.

Re: exhaust ?????

I would go with the 3 inch. The 100 dollars included all the piping, labor and welding on my apexi muffler.

Re: exhaust ?????

will 3.5 inch piping really be too loud on a turbo engine? cuz turbo''s ususally dont have a loud exhaust noise. And will the 3 or 3.5 be better for over all performance topend and bottom

Re: exhaust ?????

you won't get any better performance with 3.5" over 3" and it will just be too expensive and too loud.
