ford expedition eats my lunch
hehe this is great,
me and a buddy were out crusing last night with the t-tops off at about 10:30 looking for some action. there is a red light ahead of us and my friend notices a honda sitting at the light with some neons a body kit and some bigass exhaust, so we pull up to the light and i rev it only a lil trying not to scare him off. the guy wasnt interested so the light turns green and i take off as normal. however at the light i didnt notice the ford expedition sitting on my left. (the honda was on my right i was in the middle) when the light turns green the expediton peels out and takes off(the car had like 4 teenage boys in it?) still wanting to play i decide to run em down, the problem was i was already in second at 25 mph and was to lazy to down shift(bc i didnt think it was necassary) and they were still ahead of me by the time i reached the top of second, so i start to get a lil nervous, not wanting to lose to a expedition, and put my game face on. i throw it perfectly from 2nd into 5th and say son of a B*it*ch by the time i could get any rpms goin we were at the next light and i had to sit next to a car of laughing guys with the ttops off.

not a typo
i stubbed third and threw it over into 5th hey it happens to the best of us, beside its a hurst shifter the gear are like 2mm apart

Thats like my friend telling me he messed up his car by shifting from 3rd to first...

in my firebird i have thrown it from the top of third at 90mph into second, the tach needle went agaisnt the stopper at 7000rpms and started bending lol

How is your gate set up? I mean, 1st to 5th is a BIG bog on a shift.

OOOWWWW!!! Man I have done that before. I shattered my clutch to pieces from going to 4th to first at 90. It was incredibly stupid. I know you guys can ripp on me all you want. Oh well, live and learn. Late...

Hmm...still a big bog for a shift, I can see how it happens, but Ive never actually seen it happen.

whenevr i throw it from 2nd to third quickly i cant just throw it staight up as i do in normal driving, i have to push it up at a slight angle to get it into thrid quickly, if the angle is too great it goes into 5th
