tail light
The right tail/break light on my '96 Jetta GL has gone out repeatedly after being changed.
I put in a new bulb, it works, then it stops working. Each time I go to see what the problem is, the bulb is cracked or broken. I put in a new bulb, it works briefly, then the same problem. Moisture is getting inside the unit. Can this moisture be causing the bulbs to break or crack? |

Re: tail light
YES. Definitely. The bulb turns a diff color, huh? The moisture in the light is the reason. I had the same prob. Just take a really small drill bit, and drill some holes at the bottom of the light so the water will drain.
