tune up on 98 silverado
i have a 98 with 55,000 miles on it, the dealer wants $500.00 for a tune up,what exactly does a tune up entail? any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Guess, would be Spark Plugs, Oil Change, Transmission Oil Change, Gear Oil, Wheel Alignment and balance, Engine Coolant flush, New air Cleaner and any other items I missed.
Still, $500 Bones seems a bit steep. They should tell you BEFORE the work is to be done what all of that entails. If not I would definately be asking. Ouch, glad I can do most of that stuff myself. Let us know if you find out.
