Have a 1994 chev astro, both power windows quit working. The fuse is ok.The passenger windows was partly down,it was going to rain the next day. So,I pulled the panel on the driver side and jumped a wire (black) to the frame.I got it to go back up.The motors are ok.Later in the week I thought maybe the ground wire might be open,so I ran a new wire and was going to solder the wire to the black. This time when i did it,it blew the fuse.I have a manual, but its not chilton.
Hate these diagrams any ideas John Bauman |

Re: Power windows not working
If the switch on the driver's side goes out, the windows won't work. Even the passenger switch won't work. Try replacing your switch.
