Re: Intake?

too much money. just go to posracing.com or search home depot intake and make on yourself for 30 bucks. or get a cheap one off ebay they all work the same

Re: Intake?

$250 is waaay too much for an intake. Seriously get a $50 intake pipe and filter, and save the next $200 something faster down the road.

Re: Intake?

Just go with the home depot intake. I did it and i think its great, i get faster spool and the turbo is loud as hell.

I agree, I haven't heard of a CAI for the 1G or 2G turbos.

and george536, I don't quite think I understand what you're saying when you say you don't need an intake if you have an intercooler. A better flowing intake still provides better airflow to the turbo...

I think george was talking about not needing a CAI.

Re: Intake?

cold air intake goes down in the wheelwell. short ram intake just stays in the stock filter location. nobody make a cai for a turbo eclipse

I got the exact same intake as what you are looking at on ebay... Don't use the filter that they send with it... I tried it just for the hell of it and the mounting for it on the MAFS is to restrictive... just compare it to the one for the K&N... big difference.
I had the HomeDepot one but wanted better looks....the performance of either isn't any different...... GL
