piston ring replacement

can piston ring be change without pulling the whole engine out?

i got a 4 cylinder , 1.5 L honda

Yes, http://binghamtonlife.com/manual/2gsm/ all of the info you should need will be here, you are going to have to pull the head, and the oil pan, if you leave the crank in there, be very very careful, any nicks on it at all will destroy it.
