95 Bonneville SSEi - ECC Blinking
Just recently the temp has started flashing when I start my car. After about 30-45 seconds it stops. I've seen this message posted here but have yet to see a problem resolution. Short of having the codes dumped, does anyone know what could be causing this?
Thanks for your help. |

Re: 95 Bonneville SSEi - ECC Blinking
Blinking ECC indicates a fault in the system. Low freon, low pressure or voltage, air mix door... could be lots of different things. Through 93, the ECC has an on-board diagnostics where the codes could be displayed right on the VFD display. Starting in 94, the codes need to be read with a scanner of sorts. You will need to get the code(s) to find out what's at fault first.
