Is this a common fraud

ok i found a toyota supra 1997 for sale for $12000 with 12040 miles on it.
I emailed the seller and this is what he said

E-mail 1

"Dear sir,
The car will be shipped from UNITED KINGDOM, Europe and I will pay the shipping and insurance charges as I have a friend who works at Vincentmoving and it will arange for me a low price shipping.Shipping will take 4-5 days. Also I will declare the car a gift so you will pay NO CUSTOMS WHEN YOU WILL RECEIVE IT!The price is 12000$us
The car has US title, the title is clear so you will not have any problems when you will register it.The car was bought from New Jersey and the title is registered there, I m the first owner of this car,i bought it when i worked in the states and now i came home in UNITED KINGDOM and i want to sell it because here i cant register it because it is an us model.
The car is in perfect condition both mechanically and cosmetically. No damage,no scratches or dents, no hidden defects, and it is as advertised. It has a very little usage. For most of its life, it’s been parked in the garage. very powerful, very fast and very smooth.
Please let me know if you want to buy this beauty.
The car its a Twin Turbo
Thanks!"

Email 2

"00*07*****49** is my phone number
please dial the number like i write without other numbers
i will wait your call
thanks"

Email 3

"dear sir
i sell this car because here all the cars have the wheel on right side and this car have the wheeel on the left side and i cant use it
i can give you the title andf you will see that this car is my car
if you want we can make an agrement sign by both of us
let me know if we can move forward with this deal"

Email 4

"Hi,

For sending this downpayment,I preffer Western Union
because it is fast and secure and also offers
me the chance to ship you the car in the same day.
You have to make a deposit of $2700 through Western Union
money transfer and I will send the car in the same day,by Lufthansa Air
Cargo Freight.
To arrange the transfer, you must go in person to a Western Union office and
send the
money from your name and address to my name and address.
But for your safety you can make the deposit from your name and
address to WHAT NAME DO YOU WANT HERE IN LONDON(EG:YOUR WIFE'S NAME
,FATHER'S NAME,
GRANDFATHER'S NAME OR WHAT NAME DO YOU WANT)so you can be sure that the
funds will
stay with WU until you receive the car. After receiving and inspecting the
car,you will wire
me the ballance, and you will change the receiver's name at WU so I can
collect my money.
This plan is a common way of transacting business over the internet and
internationally.

Have a nice day."

what do you guys think???????????

Simply put.... YES! So many people these days just have absolutely no morals anymore. You never wire anyone money if you have any other options, infact don't wire money period. Don't buy a car that's not in the US already, and legalized if need be. The whole "cars have the wheel on right side and this car have the wheeel on the left side and i cant use it" part, OMG I'm laughing so hard right now.

Correct me if im wrong

Here let me agree on this one.

First thing i would question is the low price... let alone the consistancy he is trying to pressure with. Belive me no one in the UK would be worried about getting this out of the country because he couldn't use it. Not only that but they have them there and don't have the same kind of EPA shit we do. There would be no problem for him to use it or sell it to a private collecter there... Even more so since this tuning shit is even bigger there and the Supra MKIV is just as popular as the WRX, EVO, SKyline, and GTI's.

i would normally agree with everyone, but he did say that u could wire the money under someone elses name and send the balance AFTER you recieve the car. so i mean he wouldnt get the money till after u got the car. also, 12000$ isnt all that cheap if its not TT. and are u sure its dollars and not pounds?

another thought.. could be telling the truth about the whole 'car is lhd' thing, since the supra was sold on the ukdm as a rhd, perhaps the road registering body in the uk don't like parallel import cars from the us (why would they let you to drive a lhd when there is a rhd model available locally..)?
i know in my country (australia) it would be extremely difficult to get a lhd car registered, in fact i've only ever seen 2, an old corvette and a viper..
