Hi, I just purchased a 1994 Cougar. There was no manual and I would like to know if anyone can answer my question. When I am driving and the sun hits the dash board I notice there is a light that says " FIRM RIDE ". It hasn't lit up, but I was wondering if anyone knew what it was for. Thanks. Tessa

Re: No Manual
changes the way the car rides dealing with the suspension, not sure where it is on yours but most mercury/lincoln cars have switch in the trunk to change the suspension ride
