B16 Swap.

I want to swap my D16Y8 automatic out for a B16A2 w/ manual tranny. My goal is to get my hands on a totaled (rear-ended of course) 00 Si. Is the simplest way to swap this be to remove the engine, tranny, wiring harness and ECU and than re-install them in my car? I also want to take the Si gauge pod and install it in my car so I can have an easy way to keep track of mileage on the engine. I got a guy who works at the local Acura dealer who will do the swap for me. I know he usually orders the harness for the swap, but I am wondering if this would work better. I want a USDM because the compression is a little lower than JDM and I plan on Turbocharging the car. Here is my thinking so far. B16A2 with aftermarket intake manifold/throttle body. Port & polish. Thought of getting a stroker kit for it but I don't know too much about that yet so I dont know if this raises compression or not. Afetrmarket valve train. Camshaft and cam gear. crankshaft pulley and underdrive pulleys. Thinking of some other engine mods to strenghten it for T/C like spacer and so on. My next door neighbor owns a machine shop so I am sure I can have him do the work for minimal $$$. Finally the edelbrock performer X Turbo kit that comes with the garrett GT28R turbo. Than my last mod would probably be a AEM EMS, but that would be down the line a little bit. Probably just Hondata the ECU first. What do people think of this?
