Battery terminals

I need to replace the positive battery terminal on my 91 4g4d but the fuses for the power seatbelts are up there and i dont wanna tear the whole thing apart and not be able to get it back together.... i guess what im basically asking is if anyone knows how im supposed to do this.... pretty NOOB question huh?

You want to replace he positive battery post on your battery?? I dont get it, you talk funny. Explain what you mean a little bit more and wed be glad to help you out.

lol sorry... i mean the connection on the end of the battery cable... not the post on the battery... the end of the cable.... the part that connects to the battery.

i just need to know if the generic one that the carquest guy recommended will work... he came out and looked at the one that is on it and said he had never seen anything like that... i know its stock tho cause its the fuses for the automatic seatbelts.... this is probably confusing too... if its too confusing ill take a pic of what i mean.

Why do you need a new one?

If it is just coroded (is that spelled right?) put some Coke on it and it'll clear it up.

Its corroded to the point that it cracked and its like tinfoil now.... its gonna completely disintegrate soon... dont think i spelled that right...

Just replace the whole cable with a honda oem part. They are like $25-$40 at the dealer. GL

BTW, you spelled "disintegrate" correctly

just cut it all off....then strip the wire that goes to the fuse......replace it all onto a basic Lead clamp....shouldnt cost more than $2......I work at a battery shop.....its not hard dude.
