Question Skyline on 2wd dyno

Hi, does anyone know how to rig a skyline R34 to work on a 2wd dyno. I understand it requires the removal of fuses or relays or something?? Also, if i put 600BHP through the rear wheels will this create a problem? Any ideas please pst a reply or email me ASAP (gotta do it tomorrow): [email protected]

Thanks in advance

Dyno

Fuses etc.. would still leave all the linkage in place.

Try disconnecting the prop shaft. That way you know exactly how many wheels you have power too!

In the R32s you could remove a fuse to dissable ATTESSA but I don't know about 33s or 34s. I'd agree and say that removing the prop shaft is your best bet, wouldn't want somthing going haywire

As for the power, it won't create a problem for the car, perhaps for the Dyno though

In a 33, you remove the shaft at the transfer cage nad that's it. The hp would not have any adverse effect on the rear wheels...not that I know of! And yes, Gonthrax, the power may have an adverse effect on the dyno though! While dynoing my car on a 4wd dyno, the front dyno belt almost snapped! That halted the second dyno run prompting me to only pay half the charges!

Thumbs up Attessa controller

Your best bet for the R-33 and R-34 is to buy an Attessa controller. Without this you can not disengauge the 4wd system. The R-32 however, you can just take out the fuse. I live over in Japan, and have a few friends with R's. This is the route they took. Also, you do not have to worry about taking out the front propeller shaft. Also, 600 hp will not hurt your car or the dyno, I've got friends with over 900hp on their R's.\
