Question Anyone have any tips and tricks

I was just wondering if anybody knew any cheap way to make their car look nicer, like more flashier. For instance I went to Home depot and got the shit u use to stop leaves from getting in your gutter on your house as mesh for my front bumper, it looks really sweet and for that stuff and the rustolyum clear coat that I used to spray it so it wouldn’t rust only cost me 11 dollars and I had more mesh than I knew what to do with, 5 sheets. That’s a fraction of the price if you were to get it at advance auto parts or pep boys. The pattern was even sweet and it holds up.

Anyway I was wondering if anybody had any tips or tricks such as that I could do to my 92 Accord for cheap, thanks

Well first off I would detail the hell out of the car. Clean the engine and underneath. Make sure you cover the distributor and spray it all down with degreaser. Let it sit over night and spray it off with water. Drive around to dry off. Let it cool down and now you can either armorall or silicone the hoses to make the whole engine look new.

You can also do a one wiper swap. There is a thread for it, just not sure where it is. A search would do the trick. Basically you take both wiper motors out and put the drivers on the passenger side and adjust it so it comes down far enough.

Get some clothes drier hose from home depot and route it to your filter.

Buy a cheapo K&N wannabe filter (APC or similar from PepBoys/AutoZone/NAPA/Carquest/etc...)

Advance the timing, make sure you use higher octane rating, at least 89-91.

Re: Anyone have any tips and tricks

Add reflector stickers around your rims. I recommend red reflector. When you drive at nite and when the rims catch light from other cars, it will shine like it's on fire!

Don't fool with your timing, until you know what you are doing.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
