|
stock rims wider tire??
i been having trouble finding the right rims for my Z. i was just thinking that maybe i could just keep my stock rims and get wider tires.
whats the wides tire size i can put on my Z32TT stock rims?

I know I saw a page about that somewhere...anyway, 265 with correct side wall (aka 265/40/16s) should be alright on the stock TT 8.5" rears. Figure 245 is a good stopping point on the 7.5" TT fronts (the NAs have 7.5"s all around).
However if you are looking for more traction, I would suggest getting better rubber rather than marginally wider rubber.

Exactly, which is why you drop some more for some badass sticky Z rated rubber in the stock 245/45/16 rear size, alot more in that size.
