just buy a new one. they aren't expensive. same thing happened to my engine and i just replaced it. problem soved. plus the older your car gets the tougher the plastic peices get on our cars. like valve seals for instance. it's plastic and will get hard from all the heat and the seal just won't sit properly anymore.

Re: exhaust camshaft sealing plug

You can do what I did and buy STR cam seal and you will never have to replace that seal again, and it will look alot nicer than the black OEM seal. What you will need to do is get a Valve cover gasket, which ever seal you decide to use (str or oem) and some Hondabond. You will then take the sparkplug wires off the valve cover, don't remove them from the distributor. Then you want to remove the bolts that hold the valve cover on. Then gently pull the valve cover off. The you will need to remove the 4 10mm bolts that hold down the cam cap that the seal is under. Then install in the reverse order. Call Acura or ask someone with a manual to give you all the Tq specs.

if the valve cover seal is leak n oil then u should change it as well. if it's not then u dont really need to change that. i removed my valve cover quite a few times and still using the stock valvecover seal that came with my car. and u can stop the leak from the cam seal by put n some hondabond around the seal, or just pay the 15-20 bucks for the STR seal. ebay has some deals on them.

and u dont need to drain the oil. just let the car cool down a bit
