Tailight Question

I ordered a pair or euro carbon fiber tailights for my 1995 Integra ls 2door and one of the taillights is white. It used to be red, is it legal to have one of your tailights white? It says that they are dot approved.

Re: Tailight Question

Are you sure it's not just the reverse light?

Re: Tailight Question

Then as long as you have the right color bulb then it would be legal, jsut putting a clear bulb in there would be illegal. Do you have a pic of it or a link to what ones they are?

Re: Tailight Question

Agh yes, superman. (Wonderfull name) If you had to have altezza taillights, those would be the ones. Which means, thats the best set of ugly taillights I have ever seen. Good luck though.

Re: Tailight Question

Yeah they're legal, they've got the reflectors on the lenses. But you still need to use an amber/orange bulb for the turn signal for them to be legal (maybe even red?)

Re: Tailight Question

So the tailight can be white but the turn signal has to be amber.

Re: Tailight Question

that is correct, whatever color they look from the factory tailight is what the bulb had to shine as. So if the brake area was red, youll need a red bulb, same with the turn signals, those colors are all the same for a reason.

Re: Tailight Question

I see 'bruce' was banned (again), but I read all his posts as bruce, and didn't see much wrong with him. Does anyone know why he was banned this time. I just thought why not keep him around as long as he's being constructive, instead of him bullying his way in as a new sn and starting trouble. What was his crime this time?

Re: Tailight Question

Have you seen what they did to Bruce? Read all his posts. He didn't even do anything. Besides, he had a touching signature! In his memory, I will now read more comics. Marvel racing lives on!
