Smile Stolen Idea!!!

Was just cruising the Toyota site for no good reason when I saw this!

Matrix Accessories3
Interior

Rear Seatback Storage Bags
First Aid Kit
Pet Screen
Removable Tailgate Table
blah, blah

Has anyone else seen the first aid kit popping up in vehicles?

I just knew you were going to trade the Xterra in on a Matrix.... those commercials are getting to you aren't they ? That first-aid kit will come in handy when being chased by spies and killer robots.

That seatback storage bag looks kinda cool though, it appears to attach to the carpet with velcro... I may have to sneak by the Toyota dealer and see if it sticks to the Xterra seatbacks.

I suspect the first aid kits in the Matrix will be used for many urban injuries, which may or may not resemble the wilderness injuries your Xterras expect to find. The whole back end of that thing is really cool, with flaps and nets and dividers to hold junk. It's a weird car(thing), but very interesting.

Of course, I tend to transport goods in pile form, irregardless of available organization devices.

Smile XOC/Ian

No, the commercials are way annoying!!!!! Buttnugget!

I wanted to see what that little Toyota had in it compared to the little Mazda Protege 5. Toyota has a ton more power 130 for Mazda and 180 for the Toyota AND All Wheel Drive!!

They arent only stealing from Nissan with the First Aid kit. How do you think Honda feels that they are stealing their fold out table idea from the CRV (Or was it the Rav4?! All of those little POS cars look the same). It was a kinda kool idea, provided you go camping or offroading in your Mini-SUV.

Nothing new

That is how I've been carrying my gear since day one, saddlebags with a cargo net tied against the seatbacks. The one advantage, the bags are the right size so they fit into the rear footwells when I fold the seats down.

X Canuck...how much did you bleed for the Cargo Net. I have tried to get my hands on one but it seems like they are $120 out here...

Smile Beernuts!

I'll let you buy my net real cheap when you come down this weekend! I just don't use it anymore the way things are configured in the back of the truck.

Mix-up??

Must be missing something, or you are picturing something different ? I pick them up at Canadian Tire for 10$ (maybe), all sizes, they also carry a variety for safari rack nets if that is what you are talking/thinking about.. I've made good use of the spider web type for stuff up top (meant for a pick-up with adjustable bungies)
